There is a bare notion of a person’s behavioral possibilities (the "thin" sense of the term), which is essentially a count of possibilities; however, it is important to include in this concept the value of each possibility (the “thick” sense of the term). Behavioral choices hinge on the value of the possibilities. P may have an extremely large number of possibilities but only value a few of them.
